Early Intervention Services

At the Miami Autism Rehabilitation Center, our Early Intervention Program offers children with autism the best chance for developmental success by beginning specialized therapy as early as possible. Early intervention focuses on supporting infants, toddlers, and young children during critical developmental stages, helping them build essential life skills and prevent more complex challenges later in life.

Our program is highly individualized, based on each child’s unique strengths and needs. We use a combination of play-based, naturalistic learning strategies, making therapy engaging and effective. With an emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), speech therapy, and occupational therapy, children develop core skills such as communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and independence.

We understand that early childhood is a time when the brain is most adaptable to change, so starting interventions early maximizes progress. Whether working on language skills, daily routines, or behavioral management, our team collaborates closely with parents to ensure continuity of care. Parents are integral to our approach; we offer training and coaching to help families reinforce learning at home and in community settings.

Our services are delivered both in center-based and home-based environments, providing flexibility and comprehensive care. Each child’s journey begins with a detailed assessment by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to set personalized goals. Our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) then work one-on-one with children, collecting data to track progress and refine treatment plans.

The Miami Autism Rehabilitation Center goes beyond traditional therapy by also offering family support, caregiver education, and school readiness programs, ensuring children transition smoothly into preschool and beyond.
