Founded in 1999, the Miami Autism Rehabilitation Center has grown from a local initiative into a global leader in autism care, education, and rehabilitation. As part of our international outreach, the Miami Autism Rehabilitation Center also supervises autism centers worldwide, offering expert consultancy to ensure the highest standards in education and therapy. We have supported the establishment of autism centers across the globe, fostering local capacity building and sustainable development.

OUR FOUNDER
Dr. Muhannad Fraihat, MD, MPH, HSCM, is a renowned physician and global pioneer in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and pediatric care. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Fraihat has devoted his life to improving the quality of care for individuals with autism, making a profound impact on autism research, education, and global awareness. After earning his medical degree, Dr. Fraihat pursued advanced training in pediatric and specialized in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). He also completed a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) and received the highest-level certification in the field of autism care, demonstrating his deep commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with ASD. Dr. Fraihat began his professional journey in the United States in 1994, where he quickly emerged as a leader in autism care and research, gaining recognition for his innovative approaches to treatment and advocacy.
Driven by a vision of comprehensive, accessible care, Dr. Fraihat founded the Miami Autism Rehabilitation Center in 1999. The center was established as a beacon of excellence, offering a holistic approach to autism treatment by integrating education, therapy, and family support under one roof. Dr. Fraihat's goal was not only to provide world-class care but also to foster a sense of community and belonging for individuals with autism and their families. His visionary leadership led to the expansion of the center with branches in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Croatia, Oman, and Brunei, ensuring that specialized care reaches communities around the globe.
